ICAAC 2013: Raltegravir Appears Safe for Mothers and Babies During Pregnancy

Antiretroviral regimens containing the HIV integrase inhibitor raltegravir were shown to be safe and effective for HIV positive pregnant women and did not cause birth defects in their infants, researchers reported at the 53rd Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy this month in Denver.
