World Bank chief: global poverty bigger challenge than action on HIV

Jim Yong Kim says 1.2bn on under $1.25 a day 'stain on our conscience', and urges bold action on global warming The president of the World Bank has warned that ending the worst of global poverty within a generation would prove a tougher challenge than tackling Aids, as he urged direct action to help more than a billion people benefit from growth.
