State Rep. Carl Sciortino to step down, take over as first HIV positive head of AIDS Action Committee

State Representative Carl Sciortino is stepping down from the Legislature to become the new executive director of the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, a nonprofit that advocates on behalf of those living with and vulnerable to HIV.
