Giant announces Dole salad recall

Giant Food Stores on Friday announced it had removed Dole Italian Blend Salad Mix from shelves after a recall by Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. Listeria can cause listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially fatal disease that includes high fever, severe headache, neck stiffness and nausea.
