Student researches rare, harmful fungus

Kelly Drews, a senior majoring in biology, was recently granted a prestigious and highly competitive Undergraduate Research Fellowship through the American Society for Microbiology, in hopes to contribute to a solution for a particularly ever-more present complication in medicine.
