Alere gets Fda Ok to market HIV test

With the approval from the FDA, Alere can now market Alere Determine HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab combo as a rapid point-of-care test that detects the HIV- 1/2 antibiodies and the HIV-1 p24 antigen, which can show up days after infection.
