Nelson Mandela Turns 95: Why Do African Leaders Live So Long?

Nelson Mandela, the anti-apartheid hero of South Africa and first black president of that country, turned 95 years old on Thursday in a hospital in Pretoria, where he has been languishing for more than a month in critical condition.
